Green Oaxaca: Protecting Nature for the Future

The program we are participating in is called “Green Oaxaca: Protecting Nature for the Future.”

It is organized by a local environmental organization that works with volunteers to restore ecosystems and educate communities
about sustainability.

The main goal of the program is to protect biodiversity and reduce the impact of pollution and deforestation in the region.
Our coordinators explained that Oaxaca has one of the richest ecosystems in Mexico, but many species are in danger due to human activities.

We are learning about sustainable farming, waste management, and the importance of recycling.
One of the most interesting parts is how the program collaborates with local schools to teach children about caring for the environment.

This program is not just about working outdoors; it’s also about raising awareness and becoming agents of change.
We feel proud to be part of this initiative and can’t wait to contribute even more in the upcoming days.
